Der alpha compressor ist ein mächtiges Werkzeug für die professionelle
Dynamik-Bearbeitung. Durch innovative Funktionen in vollendeter technischer
Umsetzung und eine absolut kompromisslose Soundqualität setzt er neue Maßstäbe
im Mastering und bietet moderne Ansätze zur Veredelung von jeglichem
Audiomaterial. M/S-Bearbeitung, Parallel-Kompression, Sidechain- und Audiofilter
sind nur einige Beispiele.
Die Schaltungstechnik wurde komplett neu
entwickelt, um eine Offenheit des Signals zu gewährleisten, welche mit
bisherigen Geräten kaum erreichbar ist. Die komplette Signalverarbeitung ist mit
einzelnen Transistoren in ständigem Class-A Betrieb aufgebaut, und selbst
Sidechain und Netzteil bestehen aus diskret ausgeführten Schaltungen.
Sämtliche Bauteile sind von höchster Güte und speziell nach klanglichen
Kriterien ausgesucht worden.Die dadurch erzielte Signalqualität ist über jeden
Zweifel erhaben; selbst bei extremen Einstellungen bleibt das Klangbild immer
sauber und druckvoll. Somit bietet der alpha compressor passende Einstellungen
für nahezu jeden Musikstil und lässt sich immer gewinnbringend einsetzen.
Die erweiterten Funktionen gehen weit über das Potenzial eines normalen

Compression
Also available directly on the unit: the direct and the
compressed signal can be blended in any desired relation by simply turning the
mix controller.
Signal Matrix

processed signal can be monitored individually or together by the push of a
button in each channel (left & right or mid & side).
Soft Clip Limiter
Tames short and loud transients
and smoothens the signal peaks, and thereby protects following AD converters
from clipping.
Switchable Transformers

Analog Dynamic LED
Meter
The gain reduction meter modulates its LEDs in their
brightness in order to show the compressor’s action in an analog way: fast and

The alpha's custom discrete gain reduction cell provides extreme
speed, enormous bandwidth and superior sound.

This system keeps sensitive parts of the discrete circuitry
at a stable temperature and thus protects them against parameter aberrations.
